Great eye opener Greg…taking your valuable insight into consideration along with the fact that the price tag for CS4 is $300, it’s safe to conclude that Fireworks is also a more cost effective solution for designers with a tight budget as well. I’m sold

Thank you Dave. No other fellas here on my blog, just me, myself, and I. Knowing that some people are partial to either 1.0 or 2.0 profiles I do have plans to something similar for the latter of the two as well. I will look you up if I hit any snags while developing it, [...]

Hi Lucia,
Glad that you found this to be helpful. The third state that you’re referring to is the ‘active’ state…
a:active
For positioning try top, center, and bottom for the three states.
If you run into problems with that you can alternately specify the background position with the top and left placement instead as shown below…

On Feed the Dragon there’s no need to worry about installing WordPress but there is the initially daunting task of configuring it. It may seem a bit overwhelming at first with so much thrown in your face at once. So many options and not many of them make any sense at all. What’s a permalink? Or a ping? How do I add a picture to my post?? It’s not as much as it seems…just a bit more [...]
